Cornelius (that is he, above) is a time-travelling tweed-clad alien and is coming to Birmingham tomorrow (Friday 7 May) to make a film about the National Cycle Network. Sustrans have put him up to it. Here’s the planned route:

You can find out more on the little chap’s website. I’m not sure what time he’ll be about but hopefully info will go up there.

Good Morning Birmingham. I will be starting out at the NEC at 1.30pm – hopefully to miss the early showers – up to Dudley Road and back to the NEC. I will then meander down the remaining path routes from about 3pm talking to people on my way. I hope to end up at the Midlands Art Centre around 5.30pm (gates and dismantling allowing!) to sup on a pims and talk to post-work cycle path users. I look forward to hearing your stories.

That would be the NIC not the NEC – apologies from a vowel confused alien
