I was there for the launch of the world premiere of ‘Handsworth Songs’ at Triangle Cinema in 1986. Also, in my role as Chair of Birmingham International Film & TV Festival myself and many others attended the reception of Dennis Hopper’s photography exhibition, a great event all round with Mr Hopper being a great conversationalist.

As unofficial photographer of the Triangle, I documented the receptions, events and numerous also individuals who were piviotal in the Triangle’s artistic and cultural development during the 80′s. To date we have about 150 photographs from that period in the OOM Gallery archive.
