Brilliantly Birmingham is:

showcases the work of local, national and international designer makers through a full programme of exhibitions, workshops and special events. All exhibitions are free of charge and the festival promises to be a fascinating insight into jewellery-making today

will take place at a variety of venues across the city and region from 28th November 2008 – 21st December 2008.

Incidentally, is there anyone regularly blogging (or reporting in any way) about jewellery in Birmingham?  I’ve not spotted anyone on my wanderings and would love to know if I’ve missed someone.

There may be some blogs/news about jewellery goings-on on some of the Centrepiece members’ websites? http://www.centrepiece-jewellery.co.uk/who_we_are.html

Now come on Stef don’t be a blog snob!! There’s nothing wrong with a bit of cutting and pasting in my busy world I can tell you. If the info’s correct and gets to the audience then my job is done.

Hi all – I am actually regularly blogging on the BB website at the moment – no copying and pasting, just a few musings from my own head about the events taking place across the festival and the significance of them.

In my view blogging should be whatever you want it to be – a portal through which to convey information, opinions or just to spout off. It doesn’t necessarily have to be everything at once. So I’d say control c, control v when you’ve got a business to run is better than nothing at all!

    Cheers,
